Aadhimalai Pazhangudiyinar Producer Company Ltd., in collaboration with Keystone Foundation, proudly participated in the annual Vegetable Show held in Kotagiri on May 3rd and 4th. The event served as a vibrant platform to celebrate indigenous knowledge, traditional food systems, and the biodiversity of the Nilgiris Biosphere Reserve. Our stall was a living representation of the forest-dependent communities’ deep-rooted relationship with land, seeds, and sustainable practices.

A bright day started at Garikiyur in Arakode with Mr.R.S Mani who gave us the Turmeric from his farm which was cultivated with his traditional practice without any artificial agents. The entire place was filled with the aroma of Turmeric. The Turmeric has been handpicked and sorted out before sending it to the production center by the women of the same village.

Annual Meeting at Bangalapadi was held on the 6th of September. Many shareholders participated in the meet. Incentives were given to the shareholders. Procurement plan and quality of the products for the current year were the important topics of discussion.

The annual meeting was conducted in the Production House at Pillur Nadu. Incentives were given to the Farmers who had supplied their produce to Aadhimalai. Shareholders from around made their presence. Discussions were involved to improvise the procurement and production plans for the present year.

We conducted a training programme for shareholders from different areas where Aadhimalai operates in. The programme was an orientation programme for the shareholders on Aadhimalai and Keystone. The legal aspects of a company formation and financials like profit and loss and balance sheet were covered. Around 20 participants took part in the event in Kotagiri on 22nd and 23rd of June, 2017.
